33 Weeks Pregnant with Max!

I've made it to 33 weeks and I figured it was about time I took a few nice pictures of the belly.  I enlisted the help of my two girls and they helped me get the job done very nicely!  I taught Grace how to change the focus points on the camera and instructed Madison on how to use a light reflector.  Together they did a great job!

I'm glad to have captured the memory in such a beautiful way.

Halloween Costume Photos 2012

We went to a very small pumpkin patch so we could take some photos of the kids in their Halloween costumes.  Noah is a tribute from district 2, from the book The Hunger Games.  Grace is a Sea Queen.  Maidson is a pirate, though she forgot her hat for the pictures.  Nathan is a pumpkin.

Fall Comes to the Front Door

I've been decorating for fall.  I worked on my front door on Saturday. This is what I have so far.  I still need to add some pumpkins in and possibly a few more crows. I like the colors.

Madison Turns Seven

Madison Turns Seven!
I know I'm a bad blogger. I just can't find a lot of extra time in the day.  I did take some photos today of Maddie.  We were just messing around with the camera.  I figured I might as well shoot a couple of her since she did just recently turn seven!!  I can't believe she's seven already!  Anyway, she's doing great. She's growing her hair out.  She's in the 25th percentile for her weight and height. She's doing fine.

Nathan's 2nd Birthday

Happy Birthday Nathan!

Nathan had a Cars themed birthday.  We just had a little party for him at home with his family.  He enjoyed it and we all had a great time.  He had been saying that he wanted a Cars cake for the last few weeks.  So I decided we'd just go with it.

I got a Cars banner and table cloth and we got a big bunch of balloons.  I made a Lightning McQueen out of a box.  He ended up on the middle of the table, but he was something Nathan could slip over his head and "drive" around.

Nathan preferred to race around the house without the box car around him.  I'm sure he was much faster that way. The kids held races through the house.  He loved this!
Nathan really was looking forward to having some balloons at his birthday party.  He immediately declared the green one his.

Here's a shot of the cake.  It was just a yellow cake with whipped icing.  He loved it as you will see in pictures below.

I had Mike take a photo of me.  That way there is proof I was there!  You can see Nathan was far more interested in the cake than he was in taking a photo.
Nathan painted with his icing for a bit before actually eating it.
For presents he got a water table, a foam sword, a sprinker, and the Cars 2 movie.

Oh, I almost forgot! Nathan also got this Thomas the Train chair.  Mike bought it for him.

Noah played "Happy Birthday" on the clarinet, while Grace sang.
Despite it being a little rainy out, Nathan wanted to use the water table.  So we set it up for him.  He loves it.  We've used it everyday since.

After the water play we all watched Cars 2.

Okay, so I forgot to get pictures of the kids in their Easter clothes on Sunday. So I forced them to put on their Easter clothes on Monday so I could take some photos.  They were none too excited about this idea of mine, but the cooperated...mostly.
I could not get a group shot.  It was a way too hard to get Nathan to stand still.  It was insane.  So here are their individual shots. It's the best I could do.

By the way, in case you haven't heard yet...I'm pregnant!!  We are very excited to add another little soul to our family.  Can you imagine trying to photograph five kids?!  That will really be fun!
