Noah and His All Stars Baseball Team

Noah was chosen to be on one of 9 kids on the Monterey Bay All Stars Team. It was his first experience with "real" little league. The other team was way more prepared and much more skilled. It was a bit of a slaughter out there. The kids had a fairly good time. It was blazing hot though. Our kids were at a big disadvantage there, as in Monterey we are always freezing from the cold ocean breezes! I took these photos to document the day. They would have played one more game, but one player couldn't make it, and they had to forefit the game. It would have been another slaughter anyway, so it's not a great loss. We will probably put Noah on a city team next year, so he can get better skills and better coaching.

He loves baseball so far! Which thrills Mike.

My boy, Noah.

The Team

This was actually taken after the game.

That's Noah swinging the bat.

Notice the scoreboard it's 4 to 23....yikes!

Handmade Skirts from Aunt Gina

The girls got the wonderful skirts from their Aunt Gina. She made these!! They are amazing patchwork skirts! The girls love, love, love them! Thank you Aunt Gina! Madison only really wants to wear skirts these days, she now has a nice long one to wear.

Of course we had to photograph the girls in them, so here you go!! They look so cute!

Our Friends and the Hats

This first picture is of our friends' daughter, Sophia. You'll read of her below.

Our old friends that Mike and I have known since before we were even married have been stationed here, and now live just a few houses up the street! We have been visiting them once a day. They have a sweet little one year old girl, and she is a real hit with my girls. They love to go play with her. Yesterday, Lidia, pulled out some crocheted hats her mom-in-law made, and the girls each picked one to wear. She let us keep these two. I had to take some photos. I really love the purple one on Grace.
