Noah was chosen to be on one of 9 kids on the Monterey Bay All Stars Team. It was his first experience with "real" little league. The other team was way more prepared and much more skilled. It was a bit of a slaughter out there. The kids had a fairly good time. It was blazing hot though. Our kids were at a big disadvantage there, as in Monterey we are always freezing from the cold ocean breezes! I took these photos to document the day. They would have played one more game, but one player couldn't make it, and they had to forefit the game. It would have been another slaughter anyway, so it's not a great loss. We will probably put Noah on a city team next year, so he can get better skills and better coaching.
He loves baseball so far! Which thrills Mike.
My boy, Noah.
The Team
This was actually taken after the game.
That's Noah swinging the bat.
Notice the scoreboard it's 4 to 23....yikes!
Nice that he was able to play in the all-star game. I hope he has a better team next year.
